Behind 14 fourth quarter points, eighth-ranked Wofford stunned No. 13 Appalachian State, 38-28, on the football field Saturday in Boone at Kidd-Brewer Stadium.

After these games were over, three Catawba County schools moved on, including Maiden, Newton-Conover and St. Stephens.
Four schools had their seasons ended, including Bandys, Bunker Hill, Fred T. Foard and Hickory.
