The final four spots were filled for Friday’s Junior Legion state tournament at Henkel-Alley Field at the American Legion Fairgrounds.
Qualifying for the tournament are Rowan County, Kernersville, Leland and Newport.
Rowan County will be the No. 1 team from Area III. Newport is the No. 2 team in Area III.
Leland and Kernersville are representing Area II. Leland will be the No. 1 seed in Area II and Kernersville is the No. 2 seed in Area II.
The Carolina Glove Flames, the host team for the tournament, will play Leland at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
The fourth game between Hickory Post 48 and Caldwell County Post 29 was postponed on Wednesday due to field conditions.
The two teams will play game four on Thursday at 7 p.m.
Roy Waters, commissioner for the Legion State, said that if rain caused the final two games to be delayed any further, rules state that the series would go back to a best two-out-of-three format.
Because they have won two-out-of-three games, Hickory (18-9) would advance to championship round against either Queen City (22-7) or Cherryville (23-6). Cherryville currently leads that series, 2-1.
