Barbara Hill Marlow, 67, of Hickory, died Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Scott Frady will officiate. The family will receive friends following the ceremony.

Bruce Gragg, 79, of Newton, passed away Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at his residence. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. at the church. The interment will be at New Hopewell Baptist Church in Avery County on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010.

Timothy Shane Crouse Jr. was born Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, and died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at Catawba Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, in the Garden of Angels section of Startown Jenkins Cemetery. The Rev. Chris Bookman will officiate.
