Two brothers shot overnight near Catawba

According to Catawba County Sheriff Coy Reid, two brothers were shot Wednesday night in the driveway of 4589 West Bands Crossroads. The brothers, Alijah Jackson and Caleb Jackson live next door to the alleged shooter, Joshua Edwards. Read more in the Friday edition of the O-N-E.

BREAKING: Bomb threat at Conover Walmart

May 26, 2015

Around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Conover Walmart was evacuated due to a reported bomb threat, officials said.

Traffic was re-routed from the store, and no one was allowed to enter the parking lot or nearby businesses.
