Justin Ray Hester, 26, of Lenoir, was convicted of two counts of First Degree Murder Tuesday in Caldwell County Criminal Superior Court.
The defendant was sentenced to two consecutive life sentenced without parole in the North Carolina Division of Adult Correction.
Three arrests over the weekend were all linked to cocaine charges, while an arrest was linked to one of the three suspects.
After working for 28 months as the Town Manager for the town of Catawba, Brian Barnett is saying goodbye. Barnett’s last day as the Town Manager is Friday, Feb. 15.
