A 19-year-old survived a deadly crash after he merged his motorcycle into a pick-up truck pulling a flatbed trailer on I-40 Thursday morning.

A second nearby wreck forced the closure of both westbound lanes of the interstate at different points for more than an hour.

'Friendship' fills school supply need

As school started the halls of Tuttle Elementary School were full of school supply donations,

“The hallway looked like you were walking through the aisles of Wal-Mart,” said Tuttle Principal DeAnna Finger.

The supplies are going to helping needy students in the school. Even the sixth graders were ready to use the supplies Finger said.
