When Edith Pirkle moved from Lake Norman to Maiden, she said she felt like the town was missing something.
"The town didn't have a parade," she said. "I thought, 'What could I do?' So I started a a parade for the Fourth of July."
Twenty-nine defendants were convicted of felony offenses and sentenced during the week of Criminal Superior Court held June 25 – June 29, 2012 in Burke, Caldwell and Catawba County.
