The Newton-Conover wrestling team clinched its second-straight 2A dual team state title on Saturday with a 44-15 victory against the Dixon Bulldogs.

Following a two-year removal from wrestling after suffering a gruesome injury, Hewitt has proven himself a valuable asset for the Red Devils this season.
From St. Stephens High School to a Limestone College St. Bernard, Stephen Carpenter made his college decision official on Friday.
With his parents and head coach Wayne Hicks present, Carpenter signed to play for Limestone College this fall.
