The marquee in front of the Old Post Office Playhouse in Newton suffered slight damage after a United States postal truck was clipped by a passenger truck on Wednesday afternoon.
The passenger truck, driven by Richard Coleman of Mooresville, was traveling east on E. A Street when he ran a red light, according to police reports. Colemanâ€™s truck clipped the rear of the postal truck.
