Sherry Edmonds Butler, a leader in both the cultural arts, education, and government spheres of Catawba County, has announced her candidacy for one of three seats on the county Board of Commissioners to be filled by voters in this year’s election.

Kaminski wins Spelling Bee for second year in a row

This word and its correct spelling marked the end of Thursday's Catawba County Schools District Spelling Bee, with Jacobs Fork Middle School's Brandon Kaminski winning for the second year in a row.
