Catawba County and Newton-Conover City Schools will both be operating on a three-hour delay on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014.
Both schools issued statements Thursday afternoon regarding the delays in normal schedule.

Catherine Elizabeth Landis Tuttle, age 95, of Maiden, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2014. Visitation will be on Friday from 1:00-1:40 p.m. at Burke Mortuary in Maiden.
