Local acapella champions to hold their open house

The ladies of the Carolina Style Chorus consider it to be one of the best kept secrets in the area, but they are ready for the community to hear their voices loud and clear.

The chorus is a part of an international organization, the Sweet Adelines, who work to learn and perform barbershop style music.

Late rally propels Red Devils past Bears

Friday nights have been nothing, but exciting the past two weeks at Newton-Conover High School.
This past Friday was no different.

Behind a late 7-0 run, the Red Devil boys avoided an upset against Bunker Hill,d defeating the Bears 74-63.
