With victory slipping away from their grasp, Kemba Walker and Gerald Henderson carried the Charlotte Bobcats to a second-straight home victory.
A 12-0 run in the final 2:34 helped the Bobcats defeat the Washington Wizards 119-114 on Monday night at Time Warner Cable Arena.

Alan Carroll Bohler, 80, of Newton, away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2013. The Bohler family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home & Crematory.

Twenty-five persons have applied to be the next head football coach at Fred T. Foard High School, according to athletic director Rob Bliss.
Of those 25 that applied, Bliss said that the school plans to interview seven coaching candidates.
March 15th
After losing three-straight games to start the season, the Bandys baseball team is starting to pick up momentum.
The Trojans spread the wealth around offensively and held Newton-Conover at bay in a 10-0 victory on the diamond Friday.

Even though playoff contention may be slipping out of reach for the Toronto Raptors, Amir Johnson isn't about to slow down.
Johnson had 12 points and a career-high 21 rebounds, and Rudy Gay scored 28 points as the Raptors beat the Charlotte Bobcats 92-78 on Friday night.
"That was a heck of an effort by Amir Johnson," Raptors coach Dwane Casey said. "I can't sing his praises enough."
