September 23, 2013

NEWTON — Newton-Conover's Franklin Wepner entered Monday's SD-7 soccer game against Bunker Hill with a sick feeling in his stomach.

He left it with an appetite for scoring.

Wepner netted four goals against the Bears, including two in each half, to help the Red Devils earn a 4-2 conference victory at Gurley Stadium.
