A body found last month in the Catawba River has been identified by the Catawba County Sheriff's Office as that of Kevin Glenn Bowman of Conover, who had been missing for some time. An article in Friday's Observer News Enterprise incorrectly stated that it was the body of a Claremont man who had gone missing near the river a few days before the body was found.
