Zoua “Pha” Chang, 30, of Claremont died on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. The Hmong Services will be held at The Venue at Eastside Park at 307 South McClin Creek Rd. in Conover and will begin on Saturday, July 27, and end on Sunday, July 28, with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory.
Registration has been extended to July 29 for contestants in the five Miss Reunion beauty pageants—the forerunner of Catawba County’s major patriotic festival in Newton.
The Miss Reunion title will be bestowed on area girls and young women during the series of three evenings of competition which precede the August Reunion Week activities in the Newton.
