CHARLOTTE â€” A Hickory man is sticking to his musical roots, thanks to the Carolina Panthers.
Jason Meyer is one of 25 members in the Carolina Panthersâ€™ Purrcussion drumline.
The 27-year-old comes from a strong musical lineage.
A Newton attorney and vice-chair of the Catawba County Board of Commissioners, C. Randall â€śRandyâ€ť Isenhower, has been appointed by Philip E. Berger, President Pro Tempore of the North Carolina General Assembly, to serve on the board of directors of the Golden LEAF (Long-Term Economic Advancement ) Foundation.
The St. Stephens boys basketball team built an early lead on Friday on its way to a 57-38 victory against Maiden in Hickory.
