Rivera: WR Gettis could be back in 4-5 days

SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Panthers coach Ron Rivera says trainers are optimistic wide receiver David Gettis will be back on the practice field in about "four or five days."

Rivera says Gettis, who started 15 games for the Panthers in 2010, will not play for Carolina (No. 20 in the AP Pro32) in its preseason home opener Saturday night against the Houston Texans.

See, 24, of 1966 Crown Drive, Conover, remains in custody at the county jail. His bail was set at $200,000, Catawba County Sheriff Coy Reid said.
