The Whisnants and The Mylon Hayes Family will perform at the annual Soldiers Reunion Gospel Music Night on the square in downtown Newton.
Headlining the popular singing event will be The Whisnants, a Morganton-based southern gospel group that originated in 1970. The band has performed throughout the United States and Canada.
