J.D. Bowman, 92, of Hickory, died May 9, 2012, at Frye Regional Medical Center.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2012, in the chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Authorities say a man stabbed his brother in the shoulder this morning during an argument over their father.
