With a 10-5 record this season, there is a different feel for the Bunker Hill baseball team heading into this year’s Catawba County Easter Baseball Classic.

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Sergio Garcia was supposed to shed that "best player never to win a major" label years ago.
Yet here he is, 32 and still searching.
The Spaniard climbed into contention at the Masters on Friday with a 4-under 68 that left him a stroke behind the ageless Fred Couples and Jason Dufner. It's only his sixth round in the 60s in 14 trips to Augusta National, and third since 2009.
CHAPEL HILL — North Carolina's spring workouts under new coach Larry Fedora are focused on more than installing new plays and formations.
It's about first teaching the Tar Heels how to practice with an intense go-go-go philosophy — which quarterback Bryn Renner described as a "culture shock."
Down U.S. 70 East, just a few miles southeast of Hickory, lies a close-knit community of about 3,000 people.
Claremont, most Catawba County natives say, is an old-fashioned farming and manufacturing town — one that has a similar history to the area’s handful of municipalities that stretches back to the late 1800s.
After being formally founded earlier this year, Claremont's Russell and Mary Boggs Center for the Arts has some big ideas for the coming weeks and months.
Some of those include:
* Inaugural Gallery Walk in Claremont – April 20, 5-8 p.m.
James Gregory “Greg” Withers, 46, of Maiden, died Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Goodin-Drum Funeral Home is serving the Withers family.
Jerold Monroe Wingate, 72, of Maiden, died Wednesday, April 3, 2012, at CMC-Lincoln. Goodin-Drum Funeral Home is serving the Wingate family.
Nick Bazzle said he knew it was time.
"The whole time I have been a coach, I've had coaches around me that have been older, and when it was time for them to leave or retire, I asked them over and over again, 'How do you know when it is time to leave?'" he said. "They always give the same answer: You'll just know."
Conover business owners have mixed concerns about a new tax system that will increase costs for many retail establishments in the city.
Those concerns include worries about how the increased costs will burden small retail businesses, cause those businesses to pass on costs to customers, force some to close their doors and discourage others from locating in the city.
A scholarship is being established in the name of Zahra Baker, the 10-year-old girl who was murdered and dismembered in 2010.
The Kiwanis Clubs of Catawba County are planning to use money left over from a playground honoring Zahra Baker to fund a scholarship in her name.
The scholarship will be available to disabled area high school seniors who choose to pursue college education.
