More than 800 citizens shared their preferences for the next Catawba County Schools (CCS) superintendent, and the surveys reveal that the public and school personnel want a strong communicator with financial skills and administrative experience.

The CCS Board of Education met Wednesday to discuss the results of a survey of what characteristics community members would like the next school superintendent to possess.
