The postseason is still three months away, yet No. 4 Duke got a taste of the physical style of play and quick turnarounds that it can expect come tournament time in March.
Chelsea Gray led five players in double figures with 18 points and the Blue Devils remained undefeated with a 75-60 victory over Southern California in the Women of Troy Classic on Saturday.
The Freedom boys basketball team knocked off previously unbeaten Fred T. Foard on Friday with a 65-57 win in Morganton.
Defense helped the Patriots (8-2), who scored 18 points off of Tiger turnovers in Friday's game.
Jeron Hemphill scored a game-high 23 points to lead Freedom in the victory.

David Lee had 23 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high 11 assists, Stephen Curry set a career high with eight 3-pointers and the Golden State Warriors extended the Charlotte Bobcats' losing streak to 14 games with a 115-100 victory on Friday night.
Klay Thompson added 20 points while Carl Landry and Draymond Green had 11 apiece for the Warriors, who have won eight of 10.
