The Charlotte Bobcats have acquired forward Hakim Warrick from the New Orleans Hornets in exchange for guard Matt Carroll, the team announced on Tuesday.
Currently in his eighth NBA season, the 6-foot-9 Warrick has career averages of 9.5 points and 4.1 rebounds in 499 games for the Grizzlies, Bucks, Bulls, Suns and Hornets.
Geneva Bost, 88, of Sykesville, Md. died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 at Golden Living Nursing Center in Westminster, MD. She was born Feb. 27, 1924 in Maiden, and was the daughter of the late Klutz L. and Cora Elizabeth Williams.

Holy Cross Lutheran Church dedicated a new church bell Sunday that replaced the one taken out of service in July.
Pastor Paul FitzPatrick said that the church discovered on July 8 that the bell in the Church’s Bell Tower had broken from its mounts and shattered when it fell.
