Lois Elizabeth Barger Arrowood, 86, of Hickory, passed away Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, at Palliative Care Center and Hospice of Catawba Valley. Burke Mortuary in Newton is serving the Arrowood family.
Vernie Smith Weaver, 68, of Conover, died Jan. 28, 2011, at her residence. Allen Mitchell Funeral Home, of Hickory, is serving the Weaver family.
