Lincoln County sheriff's deputies found Donald Lee Hoyle Jr., 31, of Newton, stabbed when they responded to a call about 9:20 p.m. at 346 Grandview Lane in Lincolnton. Hoyle was on the ground in front of a mobile home, according to the sheriff's office.
