Zahra Baker was reported missing almost one month ago, but the search for her whereabouts hasn't slowed.
Investigators continue to follow leads, process information and conduct interviews in the hope of locating the 10-year-old girl, who is presumed dead.
HPD Maj. Clyde Deal said Tuesday officials are processing evidence collected during recent searches, but police have yet to receive any results from the lab.

Ellen Phillips, 57, of Conover, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Drum Funeral Home and Cremation in Conover.
Newton-Conover started the season with a loss to third-ranked Shelby. That loss turned into seven straight losses and eventually into losing its first 11 of 14. But that losing turned into winning late in the 2010 season and eventually led to a playoff berth in the 2-A West.
The Red Devils finished fifth in the Catawba Valley 2-A Athletic Conference with a 7-6-1 conference record, and they captured the conference’s last playoff spot.

Police confirmed Monday that the prosthetic leg found in Caldwell County belonged to a disabled child now missing for more than three weeks.
Hickory Police Department said in a press release they confirmed the prosthesis match using serial numbers on the leg.
Ten-year-old Zahra Baker lost her lower left leg to bone cancer. Zahra's hearing was also damaged during cancer treatment, forcing her to wear hearing aids.
To get a wireless computer lab up and running, Balls Creek Elementary students are doing some running of their own.
Students, faculty and volunteers raced around the school track Monday to raise money for a new computer lab in the school.
The project, called Laps 4 Labs, is designed to involve students in the computer lab fundraising process, while keeping them physically fit at the same time.
Students and members of the school's Parent-Teacher Organization were asked to find area businesses willing to donate to the school's goal of $10,000.

Lewis Andrew Webb, 77, died peacefully at his residence in Conover and went home to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010. Bass-Smith Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family of Lewis Andrew Webb.
Debra Elaine Henry McLauchlin, 55, of Conover, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley. The McLauchlin family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Willis Reynolds Home and Crematory in Newton.
