Taylor Sigmon is ready to graduate high school. He has his driver’s license; he took the SAT; and he was accepted into The Citadel. But before Sigmon accepts his diploma from Maiden High School, he has one more goal: to earn his Eagle Scout badge.

Image    It’s a dirty job, but someone has to it.

That’s the mindset of William Dobson, of Newton, and Mark Pennell, of Conover, owners of D&P Bio-Haz crime scene and trauma clean-up company.

“It’s a field that’s untouched. We’re giving back to the community in a way that’s usually unheard of,” said Pennell, the company’s vice president.

Through their company, Dobson and Pennell want to raise awareness in the community that no one has to deal with death alone.
